Hello people from planet earth! Welcome to the second editing blogpost! Today I wanted to show you guys how to go from a wand photo to a professional looking working wand. So let's get started!

What you will need:

· A photo with your wand in it. If you don't have a wand you can edit one in, which I will show you on the next editing blog post.

· Picsart (free app)

· Superimpose (€2,20 in the appstore)

· Your favourite filter app (I use Polarr)

· Optional: Phonto (free app)

Editing level: Easy

___________

Step one; take your photo with your wand in your hands. I made my photo with my camera on a tripod but that's optional.

Step two: Open your Picsart app and select your photo.

Step three: Swipe the menu to the right and pick Lens Flare

Step four: Choose your favourite flare, my favourite is this one.

Step five: Move the brightest flare to the top of your wand. Don't think about the other flares, we will remove them in a minute. Now change the hue so the light turns white, but keeping it blue or changing it to yellow is also beautiful!

Step six: Save your image and open Superimpose (For more details on how to use this app, click HERE and read the first part and the Mask section)

Step seven: Open your UNEDITED version as your BACKGROUND and open your EDITED version as FOREGROUND

Step eight: Go to Mask tab and choose the hard brush with the mask on a +

Step nine: Draw over all the light flares that are not on top of your wand. But keep a large area clean around your wand.

Step ten: Choose the magic brush and mask over the rest that's not part of the wand light.

Step eleven: Click on blur mask at the top and put the redius al the way to the right.

Step twelve: Save your edit and put a filter on top it so it matches your other photos. And that's it!

Extra edits.

If you have some white space left like me and you want to make it more special you can add a quote in the background. Here's how I did it.

Step one: Open the app Phonto.

Step two: Click on the camera at the bottom and go to the camera album. Pick your edited photo.

Step three: Click on the photo and select add text. Type in your quote.

Step four: Go to fonts, are choose your favourite. Mine is OptimusPrinceps which I downloaded for free (as a use it for personal use) at Urbanfonts.com (please check if it's save for your device)

Step five: Play around with all the options. I used a Vertical Color Pattern and placed a shadow.

Step six: For the word light, I placed the I of light on top of my wand.

Step seven: Save your photo at the bottom right button. Click on Save Image as PNG.

Step eight: Open Superimpose and choose your letter free photo as your BACKGROUND and your letter photo as the FOREGROUND.

Step Nine: Go to the Mask option and draw over the I so it disappears.

Step ten: Save your photo.

______________

And that's it! That wasn't so hard, right? I can't wait to see your photo, please tag me with @blackbird.books in it so I can give it all the love it deserves!

See you next time!

Xx Merel
