A little life update

Hello people from planet earth! It's been a while since I posted something on my blog, so I thought I would post a little life update before I jump back into my usual content. So let's start with the inevitable, and start in march when the Corona virus came to the Netherlands.

At the beginning of March everything was okay. I was studying for my last test week before my final exams and I only had one month left at my job. But on 13 march it was announced that the Netherlands was going into lock down. Out of nowhere I couldn't go to school and needed to be very cautious at my work. My test week was rescheduled and my entire family now worked from home. It was a big adjustment and for someone with a anxiety disorder that's very hard. My days now excised of learning the things I already had learned for my test week (which was rescheduled TWICE) and trying not to dive into a mental breakdown. Luckily, I got into a really good reading flow so books kept me company.

But it was/is hard to keep active. I keep trying to entertain myself and to work on fun projects but it's hard. My work at the bookstore ended in April (not because of Corona, don't worry. My contract just ended) and the final exams were cancelled so I have a lot of free time. But hey! I graduated thanks to the cancellation of the final exams! Some positive news during all the bad times!

When I thought I had my life a bit under control, I got a message that I had to go the hospital for a MRI Scan. Luckily the test came out clean, but since I have a trauma for the hospital, my mental health went downwards and it's still a bit on the dark side.

Right now I'm trying to push myself a little to try to be active again. So here we are, back on my blog and Instagram. I hope I can manage to keep active, but we'll see. Thank you for sticking around even though I disappear a lot. That means a lot to me.
